Abstrakti

One of the dramatic chanfes in our society in the twentieth century has been the decline in the proportion of the population living and working on farms. At the turn of the century, almost half of the people in the United States lived on farms. in 1920, 30 per cent and by 1980, only about three per cent of the population were farm residents (Rosenfeld, 1985)
