SYSTEMIC RACISM, ECONOMIC CAPITAL AND THE CITY OF MYRTLE BEACH

Abstrakti

In this article the key concepts for understanding and defining inequalities are the
theory of systemic racism, and the spatial capital based on Bourdieu’s theory. I focus
on economic capital and the experiences of discrimination in the workplace and how
African Americans explain inequalities in the city on the basis of money.
